There were only a few of us in our "group" but we were tight as could be! If you dealt with one of us you dealt with all of us. We had such a strong friendship, and I am so grateful to the girls for being there for me when we were young. Sadly, our friendship did not always stay so strong! After our 6th grade year, Tara, Whitney, and Jenny went to Bennion Junior High, and Kristin Dana and myself went to Valley Junior High. After that most of us seemed to find our own way to survive Junior High and many of us drifted apart. I kept in touch closely with a few, but the other friendships drifted.
As we have grown and moved on with our lives, it is so much fun to run into each other and see how well everyone is doing. What people are doing ex: weddings, graduations, baptism's, new homes, so much is going on in everyone's lives! And the greatest thing about our friendship, is when we got together a few weeks ago... it was as if we had never been apart!! We shared memories, the good, the bad, and the funny (there weren't any ugly memories Connie wouldn't stand for that ;) ) It was so much fun to see the girls... well most of them.. you know who you are (we expect you to host the next lunch to make up for ditching). All in all I just want to say thanks to my girls for being such great people that we can continue to enjoy each other!! In memory of the girls I propose a toast... to a long lifetime of friendship!!!
