Summer Activities....

I have a ton of pictures that need to be removed from my computer, pictures of summer events that were never blogged about... So here it goes, a start to a long list of
Summer Activities Never Blogged About

When I went through Chemo (many years ago) I lost most of the muscle in my body and I had to relearn to do many things. One of those things would be to ride a bike, I rode before, but I never re-learned. When Jonathan realized that I hadn't been on a bike since then (and that I really wasn't sure how to ride one anymore) he insisted that I just get back on. So after many, many years of not being on a bike I finally got back on the bike. Haha, only for about 2 minutes though.. cause as I took off, I realized that all the air we had just put in the tire was gone... there was a hole in the tire, so we decided to give it a rest for that day. But hey, at least I got back on the bike!!

There were a few boating trips this summer, not as many as we should have had, and I didn't get in the water as much as I should have (always giving someone else a chance) I should have taken my chances when I had the opportunity. However, all of the trips were still super fun! We went to local lakes mostly, usually just night trips, but we did get the chance to go to our regular Bear Lake trip with my Mom's family!! LOVE BEAR LAKE!!! It was so much fun! It is very different than when we were kids, but it is still so much fun to go out with the cousins and to get my grand-parents annual Bear Lake T-shirt. I have a great collection of t-shirts from this family reunion! We did miss quite a few people this year, but we understand that life often takes up way too much of vacation time. So here are a few pictures of this years Lake trips.

Me explaining to Jonathan that if he tries to throw me in he will surely pay for it

One of my favorite shots of the summer, Jonathan jumping into the lake

Kathryn, Natalie and Jonathan tubing

Another favorite, the sun setting as we took a few last rounds in the water.

Jonathan on the Sky Ski - he is a pro!! :)

One of the only pictures I actually took of us together the whole summer.

Jonathan is always a favorite for a partner on Sand Castles

This was our Castle for the sand castle contest
